How I got started making and selling hand creams:

In my husband's profession, he ends up washing his hands dozens of times per day.  The frequent hand-washing caused his hands to become so rough and cracked that they would actually bleed.  He tried one over-the-counter product after another but nothing seemed to help.  At one point, he even sent me to the store and told me to "buy the most expensive hand cream they had."  He figured higher price meant higher quality so maybe some outrageously expensive cream would do the trick.

Even the expensive stuff didn't work!  So, I decided to come up with my own hand cream recipe containing only the active, helpful, healing ingredients--no fillers, alcohol or preservatives.  Well, it worked.  In fact, it worked so well that other people at his work wanted some too.  My husband told me that "I should sell this stuff."  So, I started Evelyn's Homemade Creations and began doing exactly that.  All of my creams are top quality, homemade and only contain ingredients that work!  I sell mine for considerably less than those expensive ones at the store, and mine work much, much better.  To this day, this is the only hand cream my husband will use at work and he says it does the job every time!

This lip balm moisturizes your lips better than any commercial product I've seen.  It is all natural and may even be suitable for children since ingestion is not harmful.



Almond -Honey Facial Scrub.......................................    2oz  $5.00

This facial scrub is an all natural cleanser that will not dry out your skin.  For greater benefit,  follow this facial scrub with the Lavender Skin Toner.

This soothing ointment is a wonderful moisturizer for those seasonal patches of dry, itchy skin.



Fragrant After-Bath Powder (see available scents).................   $4.00

If you are worried about putting all the chemicals found in commercial products on your body after your shower, but still want to smell nice, this After-Bath Powder is for you.   Some women say that it feels a little gritty.  One of the ingredients is rice flour, which tends to be a little coarse.  It is this rice flour, however,  that gives this After-Bath Powder considerable ability to keep you dry.  You can choose the scent for your after-bath powder.



Relaxing Bath Salts (Lavender/Geranium scented)..................   $3.00

If  you enjoy a long, relaxing bath after a long day, this is just the ticket.  The relaxing scent of this bath salt helps to prepare you for a restful nights sleep.

If you are easily chilled like I am, you will absolutely love these socks.  They will wrap your feet in warmth and comfort without making you itch (unless you are severely allergic to wool.)  These socks are better than your husband's wool hunting socks, because they will keep your feet warmer and do not have any seams.  And best of all, you can still throw them into your washer and dryer.
