If you answered "No" to all four questions: |
Look
very closely at that first question. If you answered "no" to this
question, then it was either a lie or an oversight. Either
way, change your answer to "yes." If it was an oversight, then
you are correcting it. If it was a lie, then you have told a lie so change your answer to yes. It is pretty much impossible for you to have gotten through your entire life without ever telling a lie. It doesn't matter how big the lie was, any lie counts. Even if you told a lie when you were two years old, it still counts. Maybe checking "no" on this first question was an oversight on your part because you didn't think to consider lies you told as a very young child. If so, go ahead and change your answer to "yes" now that you know better. As for the other three questions, think long and hard. Consider not only your adult life, but also your life as a child or teenager. Go back and change any answers that need to be changed. |
If you answered "Yes" to any of the four questions: |
Answering "yes" to any or all of the four questions means that you are not a good person. These four questions represent only four of the Ten Commandments (God's standard for determining if we are a good person). If we break even one of the commandments, then according to God, we are not a good person. If we have broken any of God's Laws, then we have sinned against God and ruined our relationship with Him. If you think you are going to heaven because you are a good person, then failing this test proves that you are not. The only way to go to heaven by bing a good person would be to never have broken any of God's Laws ever. Since every single one of us has broken at least one of God's Commandments at one time or another in our lives, none of us can get to heaven by being a good person. Breaking any of God's Laws is a sin, and the Bible tells us that anyone who has sinned must be separated from God forever. The only place completely separated from God is hell. You may say "but I don't believe in God" or "I don't believe in the Bible." Well, if you are standing on the edge of a cliff and start to fall, and you say "but I don't believe in the law of gravity," what happens when you fall? YOU DIE! Just because you don't believe in the law of gravity doesn't mean it isn't true or doesn't exist. It's the same with God. You may not believe in God or in His Law now, but one second after you are dead, you will...and then it will be too late! |
